A piece I started a little while ago, it was in my head at the start of my current project when I didn’t have a subject.
This is inspired by the East of the Sun and West of the Moon fairytale.
Paper cut.
I hope this was inspired by the fact I read it to for a bedtime story which you generally fell asleep to.

The comparison to the holocaust really got me on this. People talk about past injustice all the time, say how it should of been dealt with. Well here’s a chance to do something. I wouldnt normally do something like this but what’s five minutes out of our lives of Facebook and tumblr to post something that just by sharing makes a diffrence
And all together! All in all happy with how they came out, although I always think papercuts look better in real life, and pleased I actually managed to get it all done. Looking forward to a week of getting on with my sketchbook now. Also pleased with how much my papercutting has progressed, considering I only started on this project I have really enjoyed the challenge of the process and am looking forward to pushing it for the final major!
